Induction soldering device A1200GS

Grab’n’Snap: The pneumatic clamping helps with soldering

The best thing first: The 16A three-phase plug would not actually be needed at all, it will not be more than 12A. Within a little less than 15 seconds, the clamped copper parts glow and the solder can be fed in – provided it has not been placed between the parts as solder foil.

The operation can be seen in this video.

As an alternative to the device, there is also the ‘cross-inductor’ for soldering thinner sheets in confined spaces. Here, the pneumatic piston presses the parts to be soldered directly onto the field amplifier, which results in an even faster soldering process – shown in this other video.

The balancer holder shown in the picture is now also available as a retrofit for the A1200 and A4000 induction units. The balancer is attached to the new ‘pistol grip’, which is now also available as an accessory for all A1200/A4000 as an alternative to the handle
