How to distinguish the A800iPLUS from the A800i

It’s a great thing: by replacing the hose package and installing the latest operating software, the A800i (8kW) can be upgraded to an induction power of 10kW. And how can you tell whether you have a ‘tuned’ A800iPLUS in front of you? It’s quite simple. In the picture you can see the two handles of the two hosepacks. The SMALLER (and lighter) of the two is actually the 10kW version. How is this possible? A new technology in the handle with even fewer losses allows a different operating point. Incidentally, the current software can be recognized by the fact that it repeatedly emits short ‘beep’ signals when power is delivered.

By the way: This upgrade can be fitted to all A800 models since 2008…
