More and more applications are using the A4000 – or even the A1200 – for energy-efficient and fast heating under external control. Be it preheating applications in the welding process or heating for the assembly of press fits. In any case, it is astonishing to see how large applications can be easily completed with just 18 kW of power. In direct comparison with the rated power of corresponding preheating flames – but also with conventional induction technology – the power requirement is a fraction of that. This benefits energy costs, less waste heat in the working environment and fewer large (and expensive!) power connections.

Two-stage power enable and current feedback are essential for the safe operation of an A4000 or A1200 under a PLC or connected to a robot. The new RC14 retrofit kit enables both and more. Another VauQuadrat in-house development.
